About the Role

As the Dual-Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of two children’s homes located in close proximity. You will play a key role in establishing a positive culture, embedding best practices, and ensuring both homes provide safe, nurturing, and structured environments where children and young people can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager for both homes.
Lead and manage both homes in line with the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
Build and develop cohesive staff teams committed to delivering therapeutic and child-centered care.
Drive compliance, safeguarding, and operational excellence across both services.
Liaise effectively with stakeholders including local authorities, Ofsted, and external professionals.
Ensure robust care planning, risk management, and behavioral support frameworks are in place.
Support young people in achieving positive outcomes in all areas of their development.

Requirements

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager or extensive Deputy Manager experience in EBD settings.
Strong understanding of trauma-informed and therapeutic care practices.
Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation and Ofsted standards.
Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
Full UK driving license.
